old friend and picks up the conversation he had with them from their
last visit. That’s part of our commitment to personalized dentistry.
We always greet you by name when you walk through our door and we’ll
take a few extra minutes to answer your questions and make sure that
you are comfortable. By doing this, we hope we can give you a good impression

Peter Silver, DDS
Dr. Silver enrolled at the New
York University College of Dentistry after studying Biology at
the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Although he graduated
in 1985 and opened his own practice, he continues to refine his expertise
by following the latest advances in dentistry.
Dr. Silver has studied at the Dawson
Center, Las Vegas
Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, PAC-Live,
and the Texas Institute of Advanced Dental Science. He also studied
with prominent professionals, such as Larry Rosenthal. He’s a
member of genR8TNEXT,
the Academy
of General Dentistry, the American
Dental Association, and the American
Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
He also earned the Fellowship
Award from the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Silver is a trumpet player and long time
member of Musicians Union Local 802. He has led a brass quintet for over
twenty-five years, a seventeen piece big band for over nine years and
plays in a latin jazz ensemble and a small straight ahead jazz band.
He performs numerous gigs around town and you can hear selections
of
his
music on
this website. He was recently featured on NPR as the Jazz Dentist of
New York.
Lisa
 Lisa Baez started working with Dr. Silver and our team as a chairside dental assistant over seven years ago. Her way with people, her eye for detail, and her desire to provide the best possible customer service over the years are the reasons why we promoted her to office manager in 2002. Lisa is a much appreciated and key member of our team. Outside of the office, her hobbies include roller coaster riding, walking along exotic beaches, skydiving, and perhaps the most dangerous of all pursuits, collecting Precious Moments figurines. Lisa is also an avid "I Love Lucy" fan and she has been known to re-enact entire scenes from the series, much to the delight of our patients.
Stefny
 Stefny Winter, our charming and able Dental Assistant is a California
girl, by way of Colorado. She is a professional
DJ in her other
life . She enjoys extreme sports, especially snow
boarding and base jumping. She
is as kind as she is capable, and she is also an animal lover. Stefny
has the special privilege of working by Dr. Silver's side every day
and has the unique talent of doing so without rolling her eyes.
